Made from natural snow and ice from Torne River, ICEHOTEL is one of the world’s most unique hotels. Innovative and inspiring, it is rebuilt every year from scratch and is filled with dazzling ice sculptures and ice chandeliers.

The hotel provides 55 spectacular rooms and suites featuring beds built on on ice blocks and sumptuous fur throws. The Art Suites designed by artists from around the world are particularly impressive.

Location and getting there:

ICEHOTEL is located in Jukkasjärvi in Sweden’s Lapland. The closest airport is Kiruna, which is 90 minutes from Stockholm.


The hotel provides approximately 55 rooms and suites across 5 categories ranging from simple but spacious Snow Rooms to the stunning Deluxe Suites, which feature an en suite sauna. Beds are made from blocks of ice with a wooden base and mattress covered with reindeer skin. You also have the option to combine a night or two in ICEHOTEL with a few nights in a warm room or chalet in the neighbouring building.
