Certain suites have full sea views, others offer partial views, while others face the towering Overberg mountains from their private balconies.

Once a private home, Birkenhead House wraps around the split-level pool creating unusual interior spaces, while the reception, lounge and dining area overlook a second pool, the beach below and the vast Indian Ocean. There’s also a fully equipped gym and spa.

The small boutique hotel has 11 luxurious studio suites. Each room is exquisitely furnished with gorgeous antique furniture and original artworks. They feature luxurious queen and king size beds, a large bathroom with a magnificent free-standing Victorian bath, a walk-in shower and two free-standing vanities.

Activities

Guests can enjoy whale watching from the cliff top as well as on a boat or helicopter. Other activities include sea kayaking, wine tours, horseback riding, quad biking, golf, cycling and even shark cage diving.
