- Location and getting there:
Leadwood Lodge is located in the western part of the Sabi Sand Game Reserve close to the Kruger National Park in South Africa. It is best accessed through Skukuza Airport, which is a 50-minute flight from Johannesburg OR Tambo, followed by a 90-minute road transfer.
The lodge accommodates up to 8 guests in 4 lavish thatched suites featuring floor-to-ceiling windows, an oversized king bed, a fireplace, a luxurious bathroom with a freestanding tub, underfloor heating and an expansive deck with a decent-sized plunge pool and alfresco shower. Crushed stone, rough granite, wood and glass contribute to the stylish design. The lodge can be booked individually or for exclusive use.

Sabi Sands is renowned for its abundance of wildlife as well as leopard sightings and activities at the lodge include day and night game drives, bush walks and birdwatching. A scenic flight over lush valleys and cascading waterfalls can also be arranged.
Children are welcome when the lodge is booked on an exclusive basis. There are plenty of activities for them to enjoy with the &Beyond WILDChild programme and 6 to 12 year old are permitted on game drives at the lodge manager’s discretion. Child-minding is available. There is one triple room.
