Built in 1865, Beau-Rivage is the last property in Geneva to remain in a single family for five generations – tradition is their strong suit and it shows. The 150-year old property is an icon of luxury and grandeur in one of Switzerland’s most desirable destinations. A meticulous renovation in 2010 unveiled modernized rooms and suites and a painstaking restoration of the hotel’s frescoes, marble columns, and grand façade.
Behind every door, every wall, every room, there is a story, an authentic narrative that creates unique experiences for every guest. Splendid rooms and suites create a serene atmosphere that will transport you into a magical and sophisticated world.
The hotel offers panoramic views of Lake Geneva and Mont Blanc, and an enviable position on the famous Quai du Mont Blanc, opposite the Jet d’Eau. The hotel’s Michelin-starred restaurant is a destination for in-the-know gourmets, helmed by one of the most exciting culinary talents in Switzerland, Chef Dominique Gauthier. Every experience, every space, every stay is made special at Beau-Rivage, authentic guardians of time and tradition.

- Location & Getting There:
The hotel is conveniently located in the heart of the business and shopping district, with incredible views of Lake Geneva and the Alps. Geneva International Airport is just 20-minutes by car.
Every room at Beau-Rivage has its own personality, a unique character that makes each one a favoured destination. Celebrated British interior architect Leila Corbett Elwes took inspiration from a cabinet of curiosities, where every item, every detail, tells a story unto itself.
The 90 rooms and 19 suites range in size from 30 to almost 190 square metres. Exquisite art, luxurious colours, and refined décor create spaces that exude subtle elegance down to the smallest detail. The suites, named for notable guests, all have private balconies overlooking the lake, Old Town, or the harbour. The Imperial Suite, the penultimate suite at Beau-Rivage, boasts 187 square metres of space, outfitted with a hammam shower, rare pieces of art, and a wraparound balcony with a breathtaking panoramic view.
