Quirimbas Archipelago, Mozambique

Located in the southernmost point of the Quirimbas Archipelago, the idyllic 86 acres Azura at Quilalea offers you a true blue marine life sanctuary and an indescribable Eco-luxe retreat.

Fringed by the crystal clear waters of the Indian Ocean, just nine luxury villas are sprawled across two soft sandy beaches. No one does African-chic as well as Azura – constructed with natural coral stones and makuti thatch; hues of blue, yellow and white complement its natural seaside surroundings to exude a rich decadence. And here at Azura, you get to help save on energy consumption by simply opting for the ECO mode by the simple flick of a wall switch.

Inside your adorable villa, cushions and spacious living areas would make you want to laze around on your romantically draped four-poster beds or chill out with a good read on that very comfy couch. Outside, your own relaxing sundeck extends out to the sandy white beach to give you an uninterrupted view of the ocean.

Taking advantage of this marine paradise and blending adventure with all this romance and luxury, their all new PADI dive and watersports centre allows you to explore the vibrant world of sea turtles, dolphins, humpback whales and many others under these shimmering turquoise waters.

Lightfoot Travel provides tailor-made itineraries that include daily tours and excursions, restaurant recommendations and bookings, and can incorporate Mozambique into a greater African holiday.
