Imagine waking up every morning to a different scene, a new vista on nature’s raw and powerful beauty, with wild jungle opening up to reveal pathways between towering trees, and the dark marine surface of the Amazon River shimmering under the rising sun. This is what days are like on board the Aria Amazon – a rotating carousel of nature’s most exquisite scenes, ready and waiting for you to enjoy.
The 45 metre long Aria Amazon underwent a complete overhaul in 2015, making it one of the most luxurious ships on the river today. Renowned Peruvian architect Jordi Puig has created generous shared spaces where up to 32 guests can gather to enjoy the company of friends, old and new; a sumptuous spa, perfect for rejuvenating on board; an outdoor lounge and observation deck where you can observe locals and wildlife firsthand; and 16 spacious suites with floor-to-ceiling panoramic windows that blur the lines between inside and out.
Relax in the outdoor Jacuzzi, watching pink river dolphins while sipping pisco punch. Stretch it out in the workout facilities. Jump into one of the custom aluminum motorised launch boats for daily excursions deep into Amazonia’s snaking tributaries, in search of armoured catfish, red bellied piranhas, and the beady-eyed heads of spectacled caimans in the enigmatic black waters below. Watch yellow spotted Amazon River turtles meander along the muddy shoreline, sapphire blue beaked Amazon kingfishers streak past, and dusky Titi monkeys playing in the tree canopy. The Aria Amazon offers a comfortable and elegant river experience you’ll never forget.
