Amanpulo

Palawan

Amanpulo is a private island resort situated in the Cuyo Islands, a spectacular archipelago of over 7,000 tropical islands, dotted in the crystal-clear blue seas of South East Asia.

To reach this property you’re greeted in Manila and flown in a small plane to the island’s private airstrip. Here, the 40 Beach, Hillside and Treetop Casitas are modelled on authentic traditional bahay kubo dwellings, each with big bathrooms, their own chef, butler and golf cart for island exploration.

There are a few restaurants to choose from: Nama serves sushi, the Beach Club does Mediterranean fare, while The Club House excels in Filipino classics. The Aman Spa is a peaceful sanctuary to indulge in some pampering treatments whilst overlooking the Sulu Sea.

The calm waters are ideal for diving beginners and for experienced divers, and there’s a wealth of dive sites to choose from. Snorkellers can enjoy discovering Hawksbill and green sea turtles, colourful parrot fish, rays and coral fish just off the beach.

Why we recommend Amanpulo

“Amanpulo is about as picture-paradise as it gets; think aquamarine waters, powdery beaches and swaying palm trees. As the sole occupant of Pamalican, a small island that’s part of the Cuyo archipelago in the Sulu Sea, guests can expect total tranquility and top-notch service. You're welcomed by your personal assistant with a flower garland and a cold towel, and your holiday just gets better and better from there…”
