Wine Tour: Bordeaux and Paris

Enjoy VIP tours around some of Bordeaux most famous chateau’s and vineyards, sampling some ancient vintages accompanied by typical French cuisine. In Paris, explore the best restaurants, shopping areas and learn the art of living as a true Parisian.

Day 1: Medoc

You will first attend a wine tasting at the famous Classified Growth from Margaux appellation in Medoc, the most famous wine region in Bordeaux. Most wine lovers here know and love wines from this Chateau and having the chance to sample them is certainly a treat.

You will stay at a vineyard hotel this night with stunning vistas over the grounds, followed by breakfast made from local produce.

Day 2: Medoc, Saint-Julien & Pauillac

This morning, you will go to a famous classified growth in the Saint-Julien appellation. A local expert will teach you about Bordeaux wines, tasting techniques and how better to appreciate top wines.

You will then go to the Pauillac region to the Chateau Laffite Rothschild, Chateau Latour and Chateau Mouton Rothschild, complete with a private tasting of Pauillac wine in a fantastic location.

Day 3: Arcachon & Pessac Leognan

Start your day by Arcachon, a pretty little town in Bordeaux. As well as boasting stunning views over the Atlantic Ocean, Arcachon is also a gastronomic town. With many excellent seafood restaurants serving fresh from the harbour, you must have a meal here.

Next, enjoy the wine in Pesac Leognan and stay in the 5* Les Sources de Caudalie unique hotel spa resort. Their spas involve treatments with self-developed products made from their own vineyards! Their Michelin starred restaurant is most impressive and not to be missed out on.

Day 4: Saint Emilion

As one of the most famous wine appellations in France, Saint-Emilion is superb. It has retained its medieval charm, even being classified as a UNESCO heritage site. Visit what is arguably the best outdoor medieval culture museum in France.

The most impressive part of the town is underground though. The well-kept underground church and cemetery are fascinating, and you will be able to make your own blend of Bordeaux wine whilst here too.

Spend the night in a 5* hotel in town with an exceptional dinner and complimentary wines.

Day 5: Bordeaux City

The architecture and the city organization of Bordeaux have given a special atmosphere to the city. Spend your time strolling through the town, shop for souvenirs, and spend time selecting some of the best bottles of the region to send back home.

Day 6-7 Cognac and Paris

Spend a day in Cognac visiting Remy Martin, experiencing new ways of drinking cognac and also how best to match it with food. You will have a private visit to two of the oldest storehouses in town as well.

Travel to Paris the next day and enjoy a private cruise on the Seine on a luxury yacht in the afternoon. Visit a famous Parisian restaurant in the evening and learn how best to couple food with wine.

Spend the next two nights at the quietly chic Le Burgundy Hotel in Paris. Its central location just off the Champs Elysees and its bright and luxurious interior make it the perfect place to stay in the heart of the capital. Complete with spa, fitness club and sauna, put aside time to treat yourself between shopping outings.
