Day 1: Arrival at Siem Reap

On arrival into Siem Reap, you will be met by a representative and driven to your hotel. You have the remainder of the day at leisure. We recommend renting a bicycle to explore the small town of Siem Reap and do some shopping in the markets.

In the evening, retreat to your bungalow in the beautiful Heritage Suites, where getting to know the warm and welcoming team is part of the experience.

Day 2: Explore Siem Reap

Explore Angkor with your own private English-speaking guide; beginning your exploration of the stunning temples by a drive to the royal city of Angkor Thom – enigmatic faces looking at every direction, with half-closed eyes, all looking content and serene. Then, visit the Elephant Terrace and the Leper King Terrace and learn about the fascinating myths and legends behind them. Visit Angkor Wat in the afternoon, and be surrounded by hundreds of fine carvings of Apsara and Hindu mythology. Stroll around the massive hallways to discover small shrines still in use today by the local people.

Day 3: Temple explorations

After breakfast at Heritage Suites, you will continue your culture tour of Siem Reap with a visit to the picturesque Ta Prohm, a jungle-clad temple with overgrown trees, giving a haunting and exotic atmosphere. This afternoon, you will be driven 35km to the rural outskirts of Siem Reap to visit the jewel of Khmer art, the Banteay Srei temple. Its red sand-stone walls are decorated with elaborate carvings – till today, it is still kept in an amazing state of preservation.
