Marrakech to Seaside in a Week

A 7 night stay in Marrakech and its outskirts, where you will get to experience the hustle and bustle of the Red City and the peace of its cosy villages. Start by weaving your way through its mosques and marketplace, stopping by to check out its historical palaces and madrasas.

Then, head to a village by the Atlantic coast to unwind in the elegant and luxurious La Sultana Oualidia, with a private beach at your doorstep.

Price guide: From US $1,895 per person, based on two persons travelling. (excluding flights and optional extras).

Day 1: Marrakech - La Sultana Marrakech

Arrive in Marrakech Menerah International Airport, where you will be picked up and brought to La Sultana Marrakech, your accommodation for the next three nights. With its extravagant and traditional Moroccan interiors, you will be sure to feel like a Sultan.

Day 2: Marrakech - La Sultana Marrakech

Set off on your day’s explorations with an experienced guide, wandering through the bustling souks of Marrakech, also known as the Red City. Look for the largest mosque in Marrakech, Koutoubia Mosque, which is famous for its minaret towers.

Then, visit the grand Bahia palace, take a stroll in the peaceful palace gardens and soak in the beauty of its stained glass windows and carved ceilings.

Of course, you will also get the chance to visit Jemaa el-Fnaa, the main square of Marrakech, and be entertained by snake charmers, dancing boys, and street peddlers.

Day 3: Marrakech - La Sultana Marrakech

Begin the day by booking a trip to a Hammam, a steam bath where locals congregate to bathe and socialize. Join them in their vigourous rituals of cleansing and exfoliating their skins, followed by a warm, full body massage. When you walk out, your skin will be glowing!

After that, take a half-day tour into the snow-capped High Atlas Mountains, dotted by close-knit villages and vast castles.

Be sure to try out the exceptional Moroccan cuisine, and check out the Majorelle Gardens, created by a French painter and restored by fashion designer Yves Saint Laurent.

Day 4: Oualidia - La Sultana Oualidia

After you have had your fill of excitement in Marrakech, head off to Ouadilia, a small village on the Atlantic coast just 2.5 hours drive from Marrakech and 2 hours from Casablanca. Facing a salt water lagoon and a beach, this cosy village is the perfect place to relax after the hustle and bustle of Marrakech.

Days 5 - 6 Oualidia- La Sultana Oualidia

Spend the next two days relaxing in the stunning La Sultana Oualidia, and enjoy its Jacuzzi and private beach. Take up a cooking class and learn the Moroccan cuisine, or indulge in a massage.

In the day time, go sailing or fishing on the lagoon, and take a short jaunt into the sleepy coastal town of Oualidia. As evening falls, gaze at the stars from your room with a cocktail in hand.

Day 7: Marrakech

After breakfast, transfer to Marrakech International Airport for your flight home.
