Day 1: Arrival into Phnom Penh

Make your way to the airport for your flight to Phnom Penh. When you come through to arrivals hall in Phnom Penh, you will be welcomed by your guide who will transfer you by private car to your hotel. You will have the remainder of your day at leisure, relaxing at the wonderfully colonial Raffles Hotel.

Day 2 Visiting Phnom Penh

Start the day with a visit the Royal Palace and Silver Pagoda, two of the most striking buildings in the capital and considered to have some of the finest examples of Khmer architecture.

Later this afternoon, opt to take a journey through Cambodia’s more turbulent past. Situated 17km from Phnom Penh town, Cheung Ek was made famous by the movie “The Killing Fields”. Now, a large memorial has been built to commemorate the 17,000 victims who died here under the reign of Khmer Rouge leader, Pol Pot. Looking forward from this tragic past, you will also start to appreciate the tremendous courage of the Cambodian people to move on and rebuild their nation.

Day 3: From Phnom Penh to Siem Reap

Transfer to the airport for a short flight to Siem Reap. Later today head out with your expert guide to begin exploring the area.

Day 4: Discover the temples of Siem Reap

Let our guides show you the wonders of Angkor in Siem Reap. Discover sites that are away from the crowds, and open your mind to Cambodia’s long, rich and tumultuous history.

Day 5: From Siem Reap to Saigon

You will transfer to the airport for your flight to Saigon, Vietnam.
En route to your hotel in Saigon, you will stop off to explore the infamous Cu Chi tunnels. The tunnel complex was dug in 1948 for the guerrillas to hide from French air and ground sweeps. It was also served as communication routes and food and weapon caches as well as hospitals and living quarters for guerrilla fighters throughout the American war.

Day 6: Explore Saigon

Spend the day exploring the city with your guide.

Day 7: From Saigon to Hoi An

Transfer to the airport for your short domestic flight to Danang. From here you will transfer to the fabulous Nam Hai Resort for a few days of complete relaxation.

Days 8-10: Time at leisure in Hoi An

Spend your days at leisure at The Nam Hai. Perhaps use the hotel shuttle to head into the UNESCO protected old town of Hoi An.

Day 11: Departure from Hoi An

Transfer to the airport for your outbound flights.
