Day 1: Arrive in Da Nang

Upon arrival in Da Nang you’ll be met by your guide and transferred to your hotel.

In the evening you’ll head on a food tour of Hue on a fun cyclo! You’ll visit Dong Ba market and several street restaurants, and you’ll also learn about the ingredients used to create Vietnamese dishes.

Stay: La Residence Hue

Day 2: Hue

After breakfast, you’ll be met by your guide and escorted to the Citadel of Hue to visit the Forbidden Purple City, constructed under the Emperor Gia Long in the early 19th century.

Afterwards, you’ll board a dragon boat for a trip on the Perfume River to visit the Thien Mu Pagoda and the tombs of the emperor’s Tu Duc and Khai Dinh. Tu Duc was Vietnam’s fourth emperor and lived from 1829 until 1883; Khai Dinh King was Vietnam’s Emperor from 1916 to 1925.

Stay: La Residence Hue

Day 3: Hue - Hoi An

After check out you’ll be met by your driver and taken to Hoi An, passing many spectacular sites along the way such as Hai Van Pass which forms a boundary between the climates of northern and southern Vietnam.

Upon arrival in Da Nang you’ll visit the Museum of Cham Sculpture and explore the villages around the Marble Mountains before arriving at your accommodation.

Day 4: Hoi An

You’ll start your day with breakfast at a local restaurant by the river.

You’ll then embark on a walking tour through Hoi An Central Market, watching the locals prepare for the day. You’ll meander through the myriad of alleyways, and visit local workshops and cultural sites.

After drinks on a veranda you’ll continue through the Old Town, passing through the famous Japanese covered bridge.

Your final stop of the morning is with a local family who’ll explain how they make hand-made lanterns.

The remainder of the day will be spent at your leisure.

Stay: Four Seasons Resort The Nam Hai

Day 5 - 6: Hoi An

You’ll spend your morning on a Farming & Fishing Life Tour where you’ll learn about the local farming and fishing communities.

Then, accompanied by your tour guide, you’ll head on a gentle bike ride to witness local life first hand. You’ll also stop at a vegetable village where you’ll help the farmer with planting and watering.

Afterwards, you’ll set off on a river cruise to meet the fishermen, and you can try your hand at paddling a Vietnamese bamboo basket boat along the waterways.

You’ll then be returned to your hotel where you’ll have free time at your leisure.

Day 7: Hoi An

You will have today at leisure to relax and enjoy the beautiful Four Seasons Resort The Nam Hai.

Day 8: Hoi An - Home

Today will be spent at your leisure until you’re escorted to the airport for your departure flight.
