Day 1: Arrive in Siem Reap

Upon arrival in Siem Reap, you’ll be welcomed by your guide and transferred to your hotel.

The rest of the day will be spent at your leisure.

Stay: Belmond La Residence D'Angkor

Day 2: Siem Reap

This morning you’ll set off on a gentle cycling tour toward the village of Pradak and Banteay Samre via Phnom Bok.

Afterwards, you’ll be driven to the Angkor area to see the pretty temple of Banteay Srei. The “Citadel of the Women” remains the best preserved temple in Cambodia with some of the finest examples of classical Khmer art. Here, you’ll also have the chance to visit a pagoda where Buddhist monks will celebrate a private blessing for you.

On your return to Siem Reap you’ll stop for lunch at Bong Thom Homestay.

Before reaching your hotel, you’ll be taken on a relaxing cruise in a gondola paddle boat around Angkor Thom. Watch the sunset with a cocktail and canapes as your boat circles the ancient moat.

Day 3: Siem Reap

You’ll be picked up early by your guide and driven to Ta Brak village. You’ll take a packed lunch breakfast with you and enjoy the feast upon on arrival with a local family.

From here, you’ll embark on an ox cart ride through the village, visit a local market and stroll through the picturesque countryside with its paddy fields and sugar palm trees. The morning will end at the local pagoda.

In the afternoon you’ll visit the 9th Century Bakong Temple, the site of an ancient centre of Khmer civilisation, before continuing on a boat trip on the Tonlé Sap Lake. The lake is the largest freshwater lake in south east asia and officially designated as a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve.

You’ll sail to Kampong Phluck to witness the authentic life of the local fisherman who live amongst the mangrove forest. On the way you’ll see stilt houses, flooded forests, and get a good feel for life on the water.

In one of the floating houses, a delicious lunch will be served, which you can enjoy amidst the stunning scenery.

In the evening you’ll attend a performance of ‘Phare, the Cambodian Circus’. Formed in Battambang in 1994 by young returnee Cambodians from the refugee camps, the show mixes traditional and modern theatre, music, dance, acrobatics, juggling and contortion. A must see!

Day 4: Siem Reap - Phnom Penh

Today you’ll be escorted to the airport for your flight to Phnom Penh. Upon arrival you’ll be met by your guide and transported to your hotel.

In the afternoon you’ll see the historical French Quarter in a Cyclo. You’ll visit the Royal Palace and the National Museum, which houses the world’s foremost collection of ancient Khmer archaeological and religious artifacts.

Your evening will be spent on the Kanika cruise boat, where you’ll have a dinner cruise along the Tonlé Sap and Mekong rivers, with exquisite views of the Phnom Penh skyline.

Day 6: Phnom Penh - Kep

This morning you’ll be driven to Takeo Province.

On the way, you’ll visit Phnom Chisor and climb the mountain to explore the ruins of a 10th century Angkorian temple before a quick stop for lunch.

After eating, you’ll arrive in Takeo and board a motorboat for a journey along the ancient canal to the museum of Angkor Borei and the temple ruins of Phnom Da.

You’ll then be driven to Kep, Cambodia’s prestigious seaside resort which was a high-society retreat in the 1960s.

Day 6: Kep

Enjoy today at your leisure, or opt for a tour to Rabbit Island (Koh Tonsai), a short boat trip away with a pretty beach that’s perfect for picnics.

Day 7: Kep - Kampot - Sihanoukville

The morning begins with a visit to Kep crab market to learn how to select the best and tastiest crabs.

Then you’ll be driven to Kampot, the home of Kampot pepper, and a charming riverside town with surroundings still dominated by French colonial architecture.

You’ll complete your journey at the beach town of Sihanoukville.

Day 8: Sihanoukville

Enjoy today at your leisure, or opt for a tour to Ream National Park, with its thick pristine jungle, mangrove forests and off-shore coral reefs. Come lunchtime, you’ll be transferred to a restaurant at one of Ream’s most scenic isolated beaches, Koh Sampouch.

Day 9: Sihanoukville - Koh Kong

After breakfast you’ll be escorted from Sihanoukville to Koh Kong.

You’ll board a boat at Tatai Bridge to tonight’s accommodation, a peaceful retreat on the river with the lush Cardamom Mountains as your backdrop.

You’ll spend the afternoon exploring the river by kayak, swimming in its clear waters or fishing from your private terrace.

In the evening you’ll take a short boat trip to see a spectacle of nature: fireflies lighting up a tree as if it’s Christmas!

Stay: 4 Rivers Floating Lodge

Day 10: Koh Kong

Today you’ll visit the thunder of the majestic Tatai Falls via a 45-minute boat ride.

You’ll have time to soak up the glorious jungle, sounds of exotic birds and the turbulent waters, before your picnic lunch.

During the boat trip back you can choose to try a spot of kayaking.

You’ll be returned to your accommodation for dinner.

Day 11: Koh Kong - Home

Today you’ll be escorted to the airport for your departure flight.
