Kenya is a long-standing favourite amongst safari-goers and rightly so. Popular for both family holidays and honeymoons, it is possible to combine a safari holiday with time on the beach as Kenya’s tranquil coast boasts a vast number of palm-lined beaches.

The most well-known of Kenya’s national parks is the Maasai Mara – the subject of numerous wildlife documentaries and home to thousands of different animals. If you can, witness the great annual migration between August and October each year. Get up close and personal with the Big Five in their natural habitat and spend your evenings stargazing or on a night safari through the bush.

Listed below are some of our favourite safari lodges around Kenya, be it in the Maasai Mara region, Nairobi, the beaches on the coast or in Laikipia.
