On the Victoria and Albert Waterfront sits one of Cape Town’s largest hotels, the One&Only Resort Cape Town, offering an ideal locale for memorable excursions and top-notch facilities for conferences and meetings of up to 150 people. Here is an itinerary we prepared for an international company organising workshops and team-building for 80 of their employees across several of their worldwide offices.
Day 1: Arrival into Cape Town
The remainder of the day will be spent sampling South Africa’s best wines in the winelands. Spectacular scenery, with towering mountains and rich wine made this experience memorable.
Dinner will be organised in one of Cape Town’s most acclaimed restaurants, The Tasting Room, in Le Quartier Francais.
Day 2 – 3: Workshops
The majority of the day will be spent in Only&Only Resort Cape Town for workshops and meetings. The hotel offers a beautifully appointed ballroom with natural daylight, which can be divided into separate rooms to create various workshop stations.
In the late afternoon, clients are allotted some free time to explore Cape Town. We recommend climbing up Table Mountain for spectacular views over the city, visit the historical sites such as the colourful Bo-Kaap quarter or making the most of the hotel’s award-winning spa.
Day 4: Free time to visit Cape Town
The group will finish up workshops and meetings in the morning before having free time.
After lunch, clients will have time to further explore this wonderful city or indulge in some retail therapy. Some of the recommended activities are as follows: shark cage dive, Robben Island and drive to Cape Point.
For their last evening in Cape Town, we will organise a private dinner in another one of the city’s most famed restaurants, The Test Kitchen.
Day 5: Departure
In the morning, the group will be transferred to the airport for their return flight home.
