South Australia

Overview

South Australia is for those adventurous visitors who want to get into the outback. It has a very long Aboriginal history, and is home to many ancient fossil sites.

To really get off the beaten track and get a feel for the place, staying on a sheep station is a fantastic experience. Eyre Peninsla, has 2,000 kilometres of wild and unpopulated coastline, which boasts pods of dolphins some 80 strong! For another unforgettable experience head down to Baird Bay and hang out with the wild sealons.

The capital city of Adelaide is charming and is also the stepping off point to the country’s most famous wine regions of Barossa and Clare Valleys. Treat yourself to a little wine tasting excursion along the Margaret River!
