Hue, Hoi An & Danang

Three is a magic number, especially when talking about Hue, Hoi An and Danang – a trio of world-class holiday destinations in Central Vietnam.

Starting with the Imperial City of Hue, a tranquil city for those seeking peace and plenty of history and culture. This precious city is the home to Vietnam’s most celebrated (and spicy) cuisine and is known as a centre of literature and arts.

The temperate weather and slow pace of life make it ideal for strolling the Perfume River, exploring lush gardens, and visiting ancient pagodas and temples. Hue is a lovely place to stay and has many gorgeous hotels and boutique villas.

Yet even Hue must take a backseat in comparison to the beautiful heritage town of Hoi An, a highlight of any tour in Vietnam. The charming architecture remains as it was centuries before; faded yellow coloured façades with Chinese-style roofing, creating a setting reminiscent of an ancient Far East fairytale. By night, guests can dine by the quiet river and enjoy the brilliant show of paper lanterns being set afloat, illuminating the dark water with colour.

Hoi An is famous for its high-quality silk shops, tailors and cobblers. Accommodation is of a high standard with the stunning beachfront Nam Hai arguably the pick of the bunch.

While both Hue and Hoi An are UNESCO World Heritage sites, captivating in their historic presence, Danang is a neighbouring city which has embraced the modern. Ritzy resorts sit directly on the white sand beaches that stretch out as far as the eye can see. Danang is a great place to relax, swim and soak up the sun.

The central region is definitely one of our highlights of Vietnam, and the tailor-made approach taken by our experienced consultants will help you enjoy a culturally enriching, exciting and luxurious holiday.
