Those mini adventures can often lead to a boo-boo or two
Registered nurse and midwife Jani Combrink from Stork’s Nest in Singapore says what you need to keep your family on the road.
1 Stop Aches And Pains
Pack a fever syrup (like paracetamol or ibuprofen) and choose one that is age appropriate.
2 Save Sensitive Skins
A new environment could play havoc with your tot’s skin. Jani suggests packing an age appropriate antihistamine syrup and cream.
3 Kickstart After Tummy Troubles
Pop some electrolyte sachets into your pack to help put some colour back in their face.
4 Protect Bumps And Scrapes
Those mini adventures can often lead to a boo-boo or two. Put a small wound kit in your case that includes antiseptic, gauze, antiseptic ointment, wound dressings and band aids.
5 Personal Treatment
Don’t forget to pack personal medication (like asthma inhalers, epipen, etc for individual conditions)
